Dear WSIS Executive Secretariat,

First of all, thank you for the vote of confidence you have granted to my fellowship nomination. I believe that I am only the Youth Caucus nominee, from a list of young people who had been and are significantly contributing to the WSIS process especially in strengthening national level youth engagement, that has been given an opportunity to influence the PrepCom 3 agenda and process. This entails for me, as well as to all shortlisted fellows, a great sense of responsibility and accountability to our respective families. I deeply acknowledge the hard decisions you have to made in choosing fellowship recipients. The key action now is to start online broad-based discussions on our lobbying strategies and tactics ensuring that civil society perspectives are inputed in the Declaration and Action Plan.

On another note, I (ROBERT ADATAN SAGUN) wish to request the same letters (clearly stating need for a multiple entry visa covering PrepCom 3 and the Summit dates) from you to expedite my visa application. Kindly furnish the same for my colleague, Ms. TESSA JANE ANDRADE PANG, who will likewise be participating in these meetings. I believe that there would not be enough funds and time to have these letters couriered so please advise us on how you plan to attend to these requests.

Thank you.

Yours,

Robert Sagun
President, Young Volunteers for Sustainable Development
Youth Caucus Alternate Representative, WSIS Civil Society Bureau
