Thanks very much for the minutes.

Given the concern over access to the 2nd Hall, could someone who was
at the Bureau meeting on Sept. 25 please clarify the comments from
the minutes below:

(from Minutes of the Civil Society Bureau Meeting, 25 September 2003)

The Chairperson introduced the delegates from the Swiss Secretariat
who prepared a comprehensive presentation on logistical arrangements
during the Summit. Summit logistics are the responsibility of MCI
GROUP SA, Rue de Lyon 75 - P.O. Box 502, 1211 Geneva 13
Switzerland, Phone +41 (0)22 339 9629, Fax +41 (0)22 339 9621.
Contact person is Laurence MOE and Richard TORRIANI, Phone +41 (0) 22
339 9621, Fax +41 (22) 339 96, E-mail:
richard.torriani at mci-group.com. MCI provided information on the
physical organization of the Palexpo site, access to the site (passes
and badges), transportation, Hotels, etc.

Regarding civil society access to secure zones, MCI confirmed that
500 passes would be attributed, to be handed to one focal point per
organization who will ensure distribution to persons allowed to enter
security zones each accredited organization would receive 1 to 3
passes to enter security zones. Regarding logistical arrangements
for ICT4D platform, the space is distributed between governments and
civil society entities and equipment will include tables, chairs and
WiFi. For further information on the ICT4D platform, contact Otto
FREI at otto.frei at ict4d.org.

---

What are the "secure zones", halls 2 and 3?
500 passes?
1 to 3 passes for each accredited organization? (This is not what
I've been given to understand by the ITU/WSIS Accreditation and
Registration Service.)

Thanks,

Adam

BTW -- what's the difference between the lists <bureau at wsis-cs.org>
and <bureau at geneva2003.org>?
