Hello everybody

According to previous messages, Viola was requesting comments and
suggestions concerning
items, not concerning speakers, it seems that now they have been
requests for speakers.
I would be interested to speak on the problem of the TFFM, which I have
been following
closely from within the Finance working group.
The situation concerning the TFFM is terrible, the CS has been excluded from
participating to the TFFM process. This is a procedural issue.
Concerning items, although I am thinking they belong to the paragraph 4
review of structure :
I would suggest the following items to be examined :
1/ Should the CSB take care only of procedural issues with Goverments,
or should the CSB take care that rightfull and transparent procedures
are respected at least within the plenary and the relationship
between the various thematic groups, and families.
2/ Should the CS forbids to have politicians as representatives
of the CS ( CSB families, WG, WGIG etc... )
This problen arises in the PCT working group that I co-chair,
I am firmly against the fact to have politicians inside the CS,
at very least as CS representatives.
This specific point is related to the previous point.
3/ Should CSB families be allowed to deal only with procedural
issues as it is the current situation now in principle ?
When people want to deal with content issues, should they have to relate to
( or create ) thematic working groups ?
This question relates to the mission of the Bureau.
Should the Bureau mission mirrors the mission of the WSIS Governemental
Bureau.?
4/ Should the CSB have direct relationship with all thematic working
groups ?
At this stage of the WSIS, what is the role and status of the CT group whose
role is to aggregate the content submitted by the various working groups,
when there is the need to produce a global CS content document.
5/ Concerning the Family reports, should each Family reports includes
the "content" actions
of the thematic working groups to which the family is related, or just
actions of procedures ? ( related to previous point ).
Warm ( it is summer time in Capetown ) regards
Francis
