Dear Renate, et al:

I am here at UNCTAD XI in Brazil where my President just served as keynote speaker and represented the Global Foundation and the CSB-Think Tanks at the Interactive Thematic Session on:

"ICT as an Enabler for Growth, Development and Competitiveness Implications for national and International policies and actions"

Tunisia was the second speaker to follow the President and he announced the second phase's PrepCom process will begin next week as well as the creation of a Fund for Civil Society participation.

See his speech on webcast at:
http://www.un.org/webcast/unctadxi/interactive.htm

It should be posted any minute. It just happen about 2 hours ago.

PS. My colleague Domingo Taveras will be representing Think Tanks next week in Hammamet along with Adam Peake from GLOCOM.

Sincerely,
John R. Gagain Jr.
