Renata:
Do you think that the information about the CSB on the geneva2003.org
site is sufficient? i surely don't, and neither do the increasing # of
individuals who are contacting me on information about the CSB.
In fact, there isn't too much info on the geneva2003.org site on the
bureau members, if you check - a short bio blurb isn't there, neither is
what countries they are from, what languages they understand not what
efforts (if any) there are doing to perform the communications, outreach
and liaison role which CSB members must do.
I have been getting a steady # of requests on more information on the
bureau, who is that the people are, how the bureau was setup, how it is
structured, and how it builds (or not) on precedent from other fora (un
summits, and other UN organizations). These are important questions that
need to be answered - for doing so, not only makes us more transparent,
but allows those in the future to know what we did and possibly build on
it for future UN meetings and/or summits.
I honestly don't have the time to go google everyone who's a CSB member
and compile that in an easy to understand table for all. Is it not
easier, less time consuming and more accurate to just ask all csb
members to submit a small blurb?
regards
Robert
