As best I can i'll try to post one or more daily blog entries related 
to prepcom .

We are now at T-1 week for Prepcom 2 of the Tunis phase

You can tell the PrepCom is near as Email traffic related to the 
prepcom itself is finally picking. Instead of just hearing the voice 
of the Argentineans , we are now also hearing from others. Why it 
takes soooooo long for people to clue in that, yes - there is a 
prepcom and that we need to prepare in a strategic and well organized 
fashion always frustrates me.  [more]

Invitation to join Canadian delegation.

A couple of weeks ago I had the sinking feeling that despite being - 
very - active in the WSIS process I would be unable to secure the 
financing necessary to cover the high cost of staying in Geneva for a 
two week period. Funding at the end came from a very unexpected 
source - not the ITU where I had applied for a fellowship, but 
instead from the Canadian Government who formally invited me to join 
their official delegation as a civil society advisor.  [more....]

PrepCom 2 - an educated guess

I've been asked a lot what the key topics will be for Civil Society 
next week. It's a bit early to tell as each and every PrepCom has a 
dynamic of itself. Unforeseen developments have a habit of appearing, 
and this meeting will be no different. That being said all I can do 
is make an educated guess based on the discussions taking place on 
the myriad of WSIS mailing lists that I am on. [more]
