Adam:

My earlier message was to start several threads. One, the issue of
transparency , and secondly the issue of costs and knowing how much
it really is costing us to attend and participate in the process.
Issues related to reform must also be discussed on here - but we also
most not lose track that the PrepCom is approx a month away. that's
not a lot of time to resolve the many open items we still have - a.
to discuss, and b. to get ready.

In regards to Fellowships - not only the bureau members, but for our
civil society colleagues is an issue that always being mentioned .
However what are the exact #'s? what are the details ? We really
didn't have access to the details in phase I - but not that CS runs
itself, now that it runs its own secretarait - well, it needs to deal
with the #s.

So, in my call for transparency - i thought i'd mention some
approximate numbers so that everyone is aware of how much it costs us
to come to attend meetings. Can that money be more effectively spent
elsewhere - well, that's a discussion that also needs to be done.

regards

Robert
