Dear Robert,

As we announced ourselves on the e-mail dated June 7, Alejandra and I will
work within the straight continuation of what Adina Fulga Radi had helped to
do earlier this year as follow-up of WSIS issues and events and Secretariat
back-up for civil society participating in the WSIS process.

These positions are located in CONGO staff, but are in relation to what the
Civil Society Bureau decided in Cape Town in December 2004. Therefore they
will help to act as Secretariat of the Civil Society Bureau and help the
wider civil society involved in WSIS.

These positions are no way in formal part of the WSIS Executive Secretariat,
even though, of course, they will work in cooperation with the ES.

Best regards,

Philippe Dam

Objet : exact role of WSIS at Congo

A procedural question -

Can any information be shared on the exact role & responsibilities of the

newly created WSIS at CONGO staff postiions. Specifically, i would like to

know if said postions also have a formal relationship with the WSIS

Execuritive secretrait.

I ask this, as for phase I - the Youth liason for CS was formally seconded

to the WSIS Executive secretrait. This allowed for access and

accreditation both as CS, but also as Executive Secretrait in the

preparatory process. Has the same relationship been formalized for this

second, Tunis phase?

If not, am I correct in assuming that the ONLY Civil Society liason on the

executive secretrait is Moncef ?

I look forward to a reply.

regards

Robert
