Hello

At the very end of PrepCom 2 there was discussion about a briefing on  
Internet Governance. I believe we need to do this. I envisage:

1. an introduction to the architecture of the Internet and who  
currently governs which aspects of it
2. some information on the options that have been considered by WGIG
3. a summary of the WGIG report recommendations

This will enable people to better participate in the IG debates at  
PrepCom 3.

As for general orientation - putting that in the background was one  
reason for producing an orientation kit. If we can get it done, which  
CONGO people are suggesting is at least in part possible, then we can  
focus on substantive matters and equipping people with information  
that will form opinions.
