I do not agree with the creation of a "Content and Theme bureau" . My
view is that we have too many structures and are drowning in
bureaucracy.

We have a bureau - and it's job is to deal with logistics. Let's work
on logistics - content is something we don't have the current
authority to deal with.

As i've mentioned in the past - let's just get the job done. People
should engage more in getting things done, in concrete actions vs.
"just talking about it".

In terms of going forward - concrete suggestions, let's start to
collect ideas, suggestions and more importantly document needs that
we think we need for both the coming prepcom, the summit and any
meetings in between.

Issues to develop :

* Fellowships
* Overpasses
* Press - liason for the summit (i want to recall that there was a
NGO press liason officer for the geneva summit)
* Speaking slots - @ summit plenary
* Speaking slots - @ Roundtables and/or panels

* Emergency response team:
- I would like to suggest the creation of a immediate response Civil
society team whose sole function would be to help deal with
emergencies that might occur during the summit. It is - to be
expected - that organizations will seek to push the envelope with the
Tunisian authorities. These collegues of ours might be arrested - and
as such it would be a good idea if we can serve as facilitators to
make sure they have access to prompt consular access and services.

there are likely more items we need to think about and develop
strategies for - what are they?

regards

Robert
