Hey Robert !

Cool down a little bit !
> An issue that we seem to have to resolve is WHO communicates to whom in
> name of the CSB.
This is not the issue there, I am asking the CSB to kindly
consider that an extension should be a good idea, that's all.
Now, if the CSB do not want to consider this request as appropriate
then I certainly would not make an extension request in the name of
the CSB. We are discussing.

> if i recall well (and perhaps I don't), we the CSB nominated two
> polical "heads" to deal with these high level entities. It is through
> these two persons that the ITU and WSIS are expecting to interact with.
Read my mails, it is what I kept saying all along !

>> One more reason to apply for an extension !
>
> one was already granted. let's be realistic -
I doubt that in Tunisia they have already started to work
on this.

  people and organizations
> have already sent in info and documentation to the organizers.
How do you know that all did ?
Are you sure that the strugling Civil Society in the South
have processed everything ? It is egocentrical.
You did, then everyone must have done it.
Furthermore, you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Your CSB workshop proposal is excellent, and a RT would not
replace it....

  it's
> likely we might have a few days extra - but beyond that, it will be
> complex. SUBMIT - and now. if it's in by this week, you might be ok.
Hope so...
I guess that acceptations of late request will be done on a case
by case basis.
Therefore, I propose that this CSB workshop proposal be submitted even
post-deadline. The sooner the better. Tracey or Renate or Viola should
submit the request, and we could discuss its content later on.

Of course, you misunderstood all what I wrote !

This is your opinion, you don't have the capacity, but not *we*.
You may have not the capacity with your http://www.wsis-csb.org
  site that nobody is using.
but I beg to differ :
with the WSIS-online site ( which is funded ),
we have the capacity to coordinate the CS proposals. whether or not
an extension is granted.

Good lord ! What about WSIS online ?
I am not talking about replacing the organizers ! simply
coordinate ourselfves...

Who really missed the chance ?
Are you willing to pay the rent of the conference hall of your event ?
Robert, this is not a childish game !
What we should all have in mind is the
commoun good of the Civil Society.
Nothing prevents to add some comments or addenda to this document.
The CSB has not to be more formal and rigid than the UN itself !

Best regards

Francis
