Dear all,
I forward below all to you. In the light of these responses:
Should we ask for two fully equipped Offices (CONGO could take extra charge
for one see below - ) plus 8 cubicles as we had in Geneva plus the
requested meeting rooms as seen below?
Francis, could you provide specific request for the static routable IPs?
Immediate response would be very much appreciated.
Renata

Dear Renata,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
In fact, the business sector asked the same question. I am still waiting for
such information from the host country. I don't know when I can get it.
Therefore, for planing purpose, I suggest that those rental prices in Geneva
could be used. Those price in Tunis would not be more expensive than those
in Geneva.
For telephones, CSB members are suggested to bring their mobile phones.
Since no one would stay in the office for all day long, mobile phone would
be more practical tool to contact.
I hope your final request would be very flexible. The space constrants in
the Kram Centre is so serious that I am ready to give up my desk if
required.
Best regards
Toru Nakaya

Dear Toru,
Thanks for this. Could you tell us how much would they charge for the
equipment, one per Office? It would be good to have a rough estimate and
bringing this back to the CSB before getting the final request to you.

Dear Renata,
Thank you for the requests.
Before forwarding your requests to my colleague for consideration, I would
like to ask several questions.
1) How many offices do you need in total? (Due to phisical constraints, the
total number should be less than ten.)
2) How many staff should each office accomodate?
3) Electricity, WiFi and Internet connection (through a Tunisian provider)
could be provided at free of charge. But all others including fax, PC,
printer, photocopier, telephone would be charged. Are you ready to bear such
cost?
4) Could you provide a concrete request for static routable IP? My
colleague in ITU will try to convey the request to the host country.
Please note that, given the space constraints in the Kram centre, it would
be very difficult to fulfill all the request you will send. But we will try
our best.
I look forward to your reply.
Best
Toru Nakaya

Dear Charlotte,
After our initial requests for CS space in Tunis sent earlier today, I send
some additional requests and comments from CSB members. I hope we will find
the best solution for CS needs.
