[CS Bureau] Working Space for Civil Society at the Kram Center

Dear Al,

We have proposed the two hours time slot to make the use of offices and
meetings rooms more efficient. Several caucus/WG/Families might need the
office at the same time having one office with one computer can block the
work. Also we need to give the chance to organization/coalitions of NGOs to
use this space.
In addition, knowing that a caucus/WG/Families will use an office at certain
time give us the flexibility once in Tunis to attribute it to another caucus
or organization that will need a working space. 
Please think about the time you might need it.
About boards in the office, that is a good idea that we can install giving
the time table with information about who is using the office and Meeting.

IN Geneva 2003, I remember the *regional families* were assigned a room (or
was
it 2?)...
So LAC, Africa, ASia Pacific, West Asia, Europe/NA had a common space
/communication center. REgional people looking for their comrades could
float in
and out...

Makes a bit of sense if there are bulletin boards/cork boards or white
boards/black boards where messages could be posted...
Is it too late to make this request Alejandra?

As said in my previous e-mail we will have 7 offices available; so giving an
office to the IG caucus during PrepCom 3 can be done, I can see that every
body agrees.  I think your idea of sharing offices within caucuses can be
done. Please let me know and we can see how can we arrange this, but please
make sure your caucus really need this working space at the time request.

I also discussed this with my PCT WG co-coordinator, Francis Muguet.

Having some kind of office space for the PCT WG and/or the European

Family would be incredibly helpful. I don't really expect the

infrastructure to be as good as it was in Geneva -- and that was bad.
