Dear Robert,

Steve Lamony has submitted to us an application for ITU fellowships as he
probably would not have been considered by the UNDP criteria which wanted as
major focus Education, Gender, Open Source Software, HIV/AIDS, ICT capacity
building/Poverty alleviation, and Communication/Networking. List(s) so far
have only been established for UNDP fellowships. They had their decision
making meeting today, and I will be informed on Monday. So there is no
possibility to send any new names.

We have not established so far any list for the ITU fellowships. We have
only sent out the criteria and the application form.

Please do not mix these. They are not related.

Renata

Renate:

Witness (a WSIS accredited NGO , asked me to submit the following

fellowship request to you. I have sent this now, several times,

however the individual in question does not seem to appear on any of

the lists you have sent us.

This might be due to the fact that the fellowship form was filled in

- too quickly . Wanting to get the name and form in on time neither I

nor Witness realized that the organization name listed on the form

was not Witness. Please, accept our apologies for this oversight. I

thus, would ask that the information you have on Steve Lamony from

Uganda be corrected and/or revised so that he is listed as being a

member of the delegation from - WITNESS (who received accreditation

at WSIS PC 3 / Tunis phase).

Please keep me updated on this.
