Dear Ms Toru,

we are working, at the FIDH, on the elements of your questions.

Ms Ebadi's statement will be read by her in Persian. FIDH secured an interpretor during her stay in Tunis. We plan to cover the expenses linked to the interpretation.

Ms Ebadi told us that UNDP would cover her own participation in the Summit. We are booking a hotel room for her, with the rest of the FIDH delegation and can cover it if UNDP does not do so.

We have received a confirmation of accreditation for Ms Ebadi, that we sent her for her visas. Should you have more of an official invitation, please send it to the attention of ms Isabelle Brachet, at +33 1 43 55 18 80, so that she can forward it to Ms Ebadi's assistants while she might be away.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional information.

With my best regards

Antoine MADELIN
