Bureau,<BR><BR>We are pleased to inform you of the following decision taken by
the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) today, Tuesday 25
November.<O:P></O:P></SPAN></P>

<OL style="MARGIN-TOP: 0cm" type=1>
<LI class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">An additional amount of
CHF 16'000 will be put at the disposal of the Civil Society Secretariat, to
be used for the funding of DC representatives. <O:P></O:P></SPAN></LI></OL>

authorizes the use of any remaining funding (after deduction of fellowships
already attributed) as per the existing contract for DC rather than LDC

consider funding representatives coming from countries that are NOT on the
list of DC given to the Civil Society Secretariat earlier (this refers to

Society Secretariat come to the conclusion that for reasons of adequate and
knowledgeable representation of civil society it be necessary to award
fellowships to civil society representatives coming from other countries,
SDC awaits a respective email request to which it will answer
favorably.<O:P></O:P></SPAN> </LI></OL>

mind that to be fair, these applicants must have sent a formal application
before 25 October and be part of an accredited entity.<O:P></O:P></SPAN></P>
