Dear Colleagues, Madam, Sir,<br>

Weeks and months have gone by since the Geneva World Summit on the
Information Summit (WSIS). <br>
<br>
We have not been very communicative lately, but much actually happened.
Indeed, we now have a report for phase 1 of the Summit and all the
activities that have been developed by the WSIS Volunteer Family.<br>
<br>

. It will also soon be available in print and DVD format, including the documentary "Something out of Nothing", an enquiry about the use of the Internet in Senegal and Mali.<br>

What next? The next step at the UN level will the first WSIS PrepCom of phase 2 to be held in Hammamet (Tunisia) from 24 to 26 June 2004. For more information, please see: <a href="http://www.itu.int/wsis" eudora="autourl">http://www.itu.int/wsis</a> . <br>

Some of you have already planned events and activities related to volunteerism and ICTs. Des semaines et des mois sont passés depuis le Sommet Mondial sur la Société de l'Information (SMSI) à Genève.<br>
<br>
Nous ne vous avons pas souvent écrit, mais cela ne veut pas dire que rien ne s'est passé. En effet, nous avons maintenant le rapport final pour la phase 1 du Sommet et toutes les activités développées par la Famille des Volontaires du SMSI.<br>

Semanas y meses han pasado desde hace la Cumbre Mundial de la Sociedad de la Información (CMSI) en Ginebra.<br>
<br>
Últimamente, no hemos sido muy comunicativos. Por lo tanto eso no quiere decir que nada ha pasado: en hecho, tenemos ahora un reporte final de la fase 1 de la Cumbre y de todas las actividades relacionadas con la Familia de los Voluntarios de la CMSI.<br>
<br>
