<DIV>Dear All,<BR>The issue of the CS representation on the WGIG in an urgent matter we have to resolve as quickly as possible. Just to update from the Africa Civil Society <BR>perspective. as you are all aware, the Africa CS <BR>provided itself a coordinating mechanism through <BR>election in Geneva, December 2003, and it <BR>constitutional meeting in Tunis in April 2004. <BR>In that capacity, we approached M. Kummer in <BR>Tunis in June during the Prepcom I and in Kuala <BR>Lumpur in July 2004 during the ICANN meeting. <BR>These two meetings were followed up by a mail to <BR>which we got an answer from M. Kummer saying his <BR>engagment to make sure that the south voices be <BR>herd in the WGIG. In that regard, the Africa CS <BR>is invited to make representation during the <BR>WGIG meeting planned for September 2004 in <BR>Geneva. I don't know yet what form the ACSIS <BR>representation will take, but M. Kummer. who is <BR>is vacation now, will give more details wh
