As you all know, since our last meeting in February in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Geneva</st1:place></st1:City> I have been very busy organizing a Colloquium in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Cameroon</st1:place></st1:country-region>. This colloquium scheduled for next week would summarize the first phase of WSIS and begin preparations for the 2<SUP>nd</SUP> phase in <st1:State><st1:place>Tunis</st1:place></st1:State>. I seize this opportunity to thank you all for all the information you have provided online, most of which I have put forward at the level of the African Civil Society.</FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>As far as the question of speakers at the Tunis Summit is concerned, I humbly believe that speakers at the levels of caucuses, families and task forces have already selected. Nearly all of these different groups have already elected their representatives at the World Bureau for the Civil Society. It is now left to the Bureau to choose from these speakers according to the required criteria as well as other conditions. </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">We cannot go back on issues that have already been dealt with. It would be inappropriate to choose as speaker a person who is not part of the Bureau. This would be unconstitutional. That is my opinion. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>To conclude, Renata’s communiqué is only directed to those caucuses, families and groups which do not yet have representatives at the CSB. </FONT></P>

Comme vous le savez tous, depuis notre séparation en Février dernier à Genève, je suis très occupée par l'organisation d'un Colloque au Cameroun. Colloque qui aura lieu la semaine prochaine,et qui va faire la restitution de la 1ère phase du SMSI et commencer à préparer la 2ème phase de Tunis. C'est d'ailleurs l'occasion pour moi de vous remercier tous pour toutes les informations que vous faites parvenir en ligne. Je fais suivre la pluspart au niveau de la Société Civile Africaine.</STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG>Pour revenir sur les orateurs qui interviendront au Sommet à Tunis,</STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG>A mon humble avis, je pense que le travail de sélection de ses orateurs au niveau des caucus, familles et groupes de travail est déjà réalisé. Presque tous ces différents groupes ont déjà élus leus Représentants au niveau de Bureau Global de la Société Civile. C'est dont au Bureau de choisir les différents orateurs selon les critères réquis et selon d'autres sensibilités.</STRONG></DIV>
