SOMERSET FILM AND VIDEO / JANUARY 2002 / E-BULLETIN
MONTHLY UPDATES ON MOVING IMAGE EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND SOMERSET
SAY IT WITH FILM new course very few places left
Learn the craft of digital video making under the guidance of award-winning
filmmaker Stephen Clarke. In a series of practical sessions you will be
provided with the skills, resources and support necessary to produce your
own short film, which will be screened at the Brewhouse at the end of the
course. The filmmaking theme will centre on the ways we communicate.
Say It With Film sessions will be held during weekday mornings or
afternoons, beginning Monday 4th February. Further group and individual
sessions will continue during the next ten weeks.
Course fee £15. Please contact Brewhouse Box Office on 01823 283244 to
enrol.

ARCHIVE SCREENINGS
Somerset Film and Video Ltd in association with Take Art! and TSW South West
Regional Film and Television Archive is presenting a new season of
screenings of Somerset based archive film. Evocative footage from the 30s
to the present day will be shown along side short films made by contemporary
Somerset film-makers. These evenings also afford the opportunity to taste a
rich abundance of locally produced food and drink.
