Castle Vale Community Radio have got a fantastic new website at
http://www.valefm.com and is definitely worth a look. They are webcasting
this weekend on the 2nd-3rd February using the CMA's Internet Media
Service. Saturday's programme consists of a new breakfast crew with the
Bond Girls with Sabrina and Gemma who will be playing the latest tunes
combined with up-to-date gossip. Dave Cherry's sports show introduces a
sports e-mail talkshow, discussing the latest sporting issues. Later is
Terry Ingram's History of Pirate DJ's, profiling people like John Peel,
Paul Hollingdale and Tony Blackburn, Jack Jackson and many more - and
featuring material not broadcast since they were broadcast live. Very much
worth a listen.

If you can bear to tear yourself away from Vale FM, you could do worse than
listen to Sheffield's very own Cris Collins and the CK Sound System -
http://www.cksoundsystem.co.uk - who will be pumping out some wicked
Caribbean vibes this weekend as well. Cris phoned the CMA office to say
that as a result of using the CMA's Internet Media Service, his website
received over 5,000 visitors and he had several hundred listeners to his
webcast over the weekend. His friends and family in the US and Caribbean
couldn't believe the quality of his webcast and he received messages of
support from all over the world.

Those stalwarts at East End Radio (http://www.eastendradio.co.uk) and at
Radio Verulam (http://www.radio-verulam.co.uk/) who manage to webcast,
using the CMA's Internet Media Service, a staggering seven days a week will
continue to knock out their eclectic mix of easy listening, news, weather
and sport and some mellow tunes. You can catch up on their respective
programmes by clicking on http://www.eastendradio.co.uk/whatsoneeradio.htm
and http://www.radio-verulam.co.uk/progs.htm

It's difficult to keep track of all our webcasters (nearly 150 have signed
up for the Internet Media Service) but Phoenix FM started an RSL on 29th
January and they will be broadcasting for 28 days. They have received 3
days free training from the CMA in webcasting and using Myriad, the
fantastic automated playout system from our friends at PSquared
(http://www.psquared.net/). Check out their amazing website at
http://www.phoenixfm.co.uk

And finally, the Red Road Music Project - http://www.phoenixfm.co.uk - at
Kiveton in Rotherham will be webcasting live from Wednesday 6th February
for 28 days so make sure that you give them a listen too!

There'll be another email soon to remind you to tune in to the above
projects but make sure you have downloaded and installed RealPlayer 8 Basic
or RealOne (we prefer RealPlayer 8) available for free from
http://www.real.com/realone/index.html.
