[Community Media Association] New Broadcasting Minister

[Diane Reid]

James Purnell, 35, a former head of corporate planning at the BBC and
special advisor on media matters to Tony Blair has been appointed to the
role of Broadcasting Minister. The broadcasting portfolio will be combined
with responsibility for tourism, licensing and the creative industries
within the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).  Further
