'Letters of intent' to apply for a Community Radio licence

A a reminder that the deadline for 'Letters of intent' to apply for a 
Community Radio licence is tomorrow, Friday 21 April 2006.

In order to assist Ofcom's planning for the second round of community 
radio development, the regulator has invited prospective applicants for 
a community radio licence to submit a 'letter of intent', outlining 
their intention to apply.

A 'letter of intent' should include the following information:

* the proposed station or company name (if available)
* the location of the service you would like to operate (i.e. the area 
you wish to cover)
* the community you wish to serve
* AM or FM
* your contact details

Please send your letter of intent to apply for a community radio licence 
to communityradio at ofcom.org.uk, or by post to:
