[WSIS Edu] igf nomination process

Dear Divina:

I hope you remember me from the Council of Europe meeting last September.  I
have been sort of lurking on this list and following your many activities.
Congratulations on this latest effort.  

I am giving a paper at the IAMCR conference in Cairo in July and wondered if
you would be there as I see that they intend to have a session on follow-up
to WSIS.  

You also said that you had a student who was doing some graduate work in
media literacy and that you might refer her to me.  Please feel free to do
so. 

Hope I'll see you again in Cairo.

i am pleased to announce to all of you that i have been nominated by the 
noncom to be a member of the consultative board for the Internet Governance 
Forum. i hope to represent well the interests of the education, academia and

research coalition, as well as some other core issues of civil society, with

your help.
i will keep you informed of the next developments, as the list still has to 
be confirmed by the UN secretariat. please excuse my silence in the past few

weeks and in the one week to come, as i have some computer and e-mail 
trouble :-)
