"Bula" from Fiji! Well after finally getting over the jet lag we"re (femlinkpacific) back on the road from today with our suitcase radio as part of the 16days campaign ....we got back to news of an allocation of a budget imposed by the military led government here to more money for themselves (!!) And also taxes on a whole of commodities including women's sanitary products (!!) So the radio campaign for the next 2 weeks hopefully will be an audio channel for women to have their say safely ...this type of institutional violence is another challenge for us here in Fiji
But I am so energized and uplifted as a result of FTX - it provided an important global yet collective nurturing and supportive environment that I sincerely hope will continue to thrive ...it is soooo needed!

hello all,

hope you have arrived home safely and soundly by now, or at least 
enjoying a little break :)

just wanted to send a quick note for now to say THANK YOU for all the 
amazing energy and magic that you've shared to build FTX. it's been a 
really.. gosh.. awesome experience and i still can't believe we all made 
it happen! and from the responses received, it looks like we really did 
manage to create something that responds to a real need.

i'm looking forward to working with you more for the future FTX-es and 
more ;) meanwhile, have a good rest, keep the energy going strong, and 
you are all super rock stars!
