Dear Helena

Thank you very very very much.

It has been a wonderful experience having the workshop at Khaya Lembali.

On behalf of all Graciousnesses, I want to thank you for your
generosity, flexibility, sweet care and for the home you created for all
of us.

I also want to thank your staff: Sbu, Anton, Phyllis, Maureen, Patience,
Erasmus, Florrie. Without them, Khaya would not be Khaya.

Together you created the atmosphere which allowed us to focus on our
work and on developing our connections with each other. 

I am recalling the moment when Leila expressed that she felt an African
for the first time, when Salome realised that she was a researcher after
all, when Grace, as head of Makerere's Women's Studies Department
included us in her reflections on her own empowerment. These moments
testifiy to the workshop's success and these are partly your
accomplishments too.
