and,
let me assure you, from "the horse's mouth" (ie a gchq 'friend'), their
chances of cracking ANY PGP encrypted message is so small, and requires such
vast reources, they don't bother trying. At local police level, it's out of
the question, hence the RIP Bill.
But suppose they come to you and require you to crack a message that was,
say, CCed to you, but was NOT encrypted using your public key, what then?
It is impossible for you to crack it. Under this bill you will be guilty of
an offence.
It seems there's some scope for mischief ....... which means it's a Bad Bill.
