Hi Victor

Thanks for the thanx.

Holland was too fast but the talk went very well. Many people said I made
them realise that we actually all have something at stake in the process.

The final letter to Kofi Annan was signed by the EBU (Jaques), CPJ (Roney)
and me (Media Caucus) and we used the A19 address. As far as I know we have
not had a response. I hope someone closer to Geneva will let us know what
impact we may have been able to have on the next meeting because we left
PrepCom 3 with things in bad shape for the media.....and many other
important issues.

I will try to write to Alain Modoux and see if there is anything cooking. I
have had a couple of messages from other caucuses stating that what we did
was good, though it lacked broad consultation with cs. Had you been there we
may have done that a bit better. I raised it at the CSB so a message went
out that we decided to write to Kofi.....

I have applied for a fellowship to get to Geneva for this reconvened Pcom 3
and hope I can make it - though more travel is the last thing on my list of
things I really want to do, its important.

Hugs to you from my very healthy repaired computer.

Tracey

I am in a deep freeze called Mongolia.
