Dear All,

I was asked to suggest the name of a journalist who may be interested in
reviewing and possibly contributing to a handbook that is in the final
stages of development on using psychology to help abolish nuclear weapons.
This is a collaborative project of the Society for Psychological Study of
Social Issues, Psychologists for Social Responsibility, Peace Psychology
Division of APA, and the Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center in San
Francisco, California. I was contacted for suggestions, as I am a past
president of the Media Division of the American Psychological Association,
and a member of a number of the collaborating organizations.

Although I have worked on projects with national/international mainstream
media, I thought there may be journalists on this list who would be
interested in participating in this project. In addition, it is my
perspective that independent media, in particular, should increasingly
become involved in these types of projects as they sometimes lend a
different perspective and also provides an opportunity for interdisciplinary
collaboration on social issues.

If you would be interested in becoming involved in this project, please
contact me back channel and I will put you in touch with the authors of the
handbook.

Best regards,

Elizabeth
