[Media Caucus] WSIS Overpasses

At each WSIS event we seem to have a WANT/BUZZ  word !! This object of desire that without which one is not  "a la mode" or amongst the incrowd.This time its the OVERPASS.
 
Well I just want an UNDERPASS to get through to the UNECA in Addis who have been in the grips of a nationwide strike in Ethiopia.
 
As a result it seems likely that most  UNECA sponsored delegates to WSIS might not get there in time.And that is a large proportion of the participants from Africa.
 
I strikes me that the media has not been :
 
A) involved in giving the issues in Addis as much publicity as possible
 
B) Most of the media issues are not from a South based point of view.
 
QUO VADIS MEDIA ???
 
Just a diversion from the urgency of OVERPASSES.!!!
