Andy,
Thank you very much for all your work and updating us.
I would like to give a brief introduction to the NA caucus and how it fits in to the existing WSIS -CS structure / history - 5 mins at a maximum.
I would be pleased for you to chair the event as a whole.
Derrick could possibly be interested in setting the items for the agenda with you. It would be best if you ( / both - after joint, off-list consultations) could please send, to the list, the draft agenda for comments from the caucus.
Thank you Andy !

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to pass along some more details about the proposed North
America civil society gathering at the CTCNet conference in Seattle next
month.
The conference will be held at:
The DoubleTree Hotel Seattle Airport
18740 Pacific Highway South
Seattle, Washington 98188
I'm planning to organize an informal gathering for people at CTCnet
interested in discussing civil society's role in WSIS. The gathering will
be what's known as a "birds of a feather session" that will take place at
the following date, time and location:
Date: Saturday, June 12, 2004
Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Location: DoubleTree Hotel Seattle Airport, Room Grand 2
Amali, will you be chairing this discussion or should I? Please let me
know so we can work out a brief agenda. We'll need to remember that there
will probably be a number of people in attendence who will be learning
about WSIS for the first time, so we'll need to have some introductory
discussion upfront.
Additionally, following the session, my organization will be hosting a
cocktail party at the hotel at 6:30pm that night. We're still identifying
which room it'll be in; I'll let everyone know once I find out.
If possible, please RSVP for both the WSIS discussion and the cocktail
party so we can make sure there's enough room for everyone.
On the morning of Sunday, June 13, we're still hoping to have a brief
online meeting with representatives from the Europe group that will be
meeting in Berlin. We still need to finalize the time, agenda, and
technology used to chat with each other.
Robert, Amali: should we extend this invitation to the plenary list as
well?
thanks,
ac
