       A Turkish court has ordered 11 Germans to be deported for taking part in
 an illegal proKurdish demonstration in Silvan, south-east Turkey. Western
 human rights activists had gone to to the town to monitor the trial of four
 members of Turkey's Human Rights Association charged with separatism, who face
 up to 17 years in jail. ( The Times)
 
     Libyan Leader Muhammed Gaddafi said that Kurds were oppressed and had the
 right to an independent homeland, the Libyan news agency JANA reported.
