as part the Global Campaign for Education – SA, 5<SUP>th</SUP> Annual
Global Action Week 19- 25 April 2004 activities under the theme – Children
Missing an Education. Over four hundred young people many comprising of, and
representing, street children, unemployed and out of school youth, learners,
child labour organisations, child-headed families, and refugees are expected to
attend the assembly which attempts to give voice to youth views on the freedom
decade and the challenges ahead. In addition, it will consider the formation of
a GCE-SA Youth Forum, to campaign and track progress towards meeting the
Education for All Goals particularly as they relate to learners and youth more
generally. </SPAN></FONT></P>
