research project intended to contribute to the second phase of the World Summit

Mundo (ITeM) busca académicos y activistas para participar en un proyecto de
investigación con el objetivo de contribuir con insumos a la segunda fase de la
Cumbre Mundial sobre la Sociedad de la Información
(CMSI).<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

de investigaciones y a partir de los resultados de éstas se producirán
documentos (briefing y position papers) que se distribuirán entre los delegados
gubernamentales de países del Sur, así como entre los integrantes de los grupos
de trabajo que participen en las definiciones de políticas en esta etapa de la
Cumbre. Estos documentos aportarán información a quienes estén en posición
de impulsar estas políticas sobre sus consecuencias y posibles impactos en los
países del Sur. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

investigaciones (finalizadas o en curso) entre los distintos actores
involucrados en las discusiones que se procesen en esta fase de la CMSI. Algunos
autores de las investigaciones pueden ser invitados a presentar sus
contribuciones en dichos eventos.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
