<DIV>Hace poco hubo un Evento Latinoamericano sobre : "Mujeres, Ciencia y Tecnologia" tuve la suerte de conocer a distinguidas personalidades entre ellas : </DIV>

<DIV>"<FONT color=#0000ff>Dras. Fanny Tabak</FONT> (Libro Laboratorio de Pandora).</DIV>
<DIV>As mulheres conquistaram reconhecimento e prestígio no cenário acadêmico brasileiro, mas ainda estão concentradas em poucas áreas, além de terem dificuldades para alcançarem posições hierarquicamente mais elevadas. As dificuldades são maiores para as mulheres, explica a pesquisadora, pois elas continuam tendo que enfrentar uma dupla jornada (cuidados com os filhos, atenção à casa, marido etc). <BR><BR>"Era importante que esse tema - que não tem merecido a atenção devida - viesse a ser discutido e que a maior participação de mulheres em carreiras científicas e tecnológicas fosse estimulada", conta a pesquisadora que atualmente preside o comitê de pesquisa "Sex Roles and Politics", da Associação Internacional de Ciência Política (IPSA), do qual foi fundadora, além de ser diretora de projetos de pesquisa da Unesco e de participar de várias entidades dedicadas ao estudo das questões de gênero e da participação das mulheres na política e na sociedade"<BR></DIV>

<DIV>Es importante destacar o impulsar reuniones preparatorias , foros regionales, ellas serviran para q se tenga mas oportunidades de estrechar vinculos a nivel Latinoamericano y el Caribe. (comites, centros , redes) para estimular a realizar estudios para atraer mas mujeres en las carreras cientificas y tecnologicas. "Es fundamental que las promesas se hagan realidad"</DIV>
