Day. In recognition of the international right to know day In Bangladesh
the day will be observed with full attention. Different
NGOs/CSOs celebrate the day through different programs. I am
mentioning here some programs:<br>

Event: National Press Conference, Dhaka<br>
Description: Above mentioned 6 organizers will arrange a press conference
at National Press Club, Dhaka. <br>

Event: Round Table Discussion<br>
<b>Theme: Right to Information, ensure the good Governance<br>
</b>Description: A Round Table will be organized by 6 organizers on
September 27 in observing the World Right to Know Day, 2007. <b>Lt.
General (Retd.) Hasan Moshhud Chowdhury, Chairman, Anti-Corruption
Commission(ACC)</b>, People’s Republic of Bangladesh will be the
Chief Guest and A<b>dvocate Sultana Kamal</b>, Ex-Adviser of the
Caretaker Government of Bangladesh will present as Special Guest. The
Round Table Discussion will be presided over by <b>Prof. Mozaffar Ahmed,
.Chairman – Board of Trustee of TIB</b> - Bangladesh. This 6 organizers
have already develop poster, leaflet, T-shart and stiker on
International Right to Know Day 2007.<br>

Program)<br>

Event: Round Table Meeting <br>
Subject: Right to Information in establishing Democracy and Rule of
Law.<br>
Description: A Round Table Meeting will be organized by the Campaign on
Citizen’s Right to Information. The 3-day program will be inaugurated by
<b>Dr. Khan Sarwar Murshid</b>, famous educationist of Bangladesh. <br>
<br>
Subject: Development and Investment Agreement: Right to Information,
Right to Information towards Transparency and Accountability and Anti-
Corruption.<br>

Organizer: <b>MMC in collaboration with BNNRC and 18 CSOs/NGOs<br>
</b>Subject: Citizen’s charter and Right to Information, Risk of Climate
Change and Right to Information, The Proposed Right to Information Law in
international perspective<br>
Women’s Access to Information: Role of women Journalists, Public Right to
Government Information: Strategy of bridging, Importance of National
Broadcasting Commission in Bangladesh.<br><br>
