SV: [Privsec] ICANN meeting in LUX: closed GAC session on Domain and IP data for law enforcement [u]

I'll try and do 2 things:

1. get in touch with the Canadian govt officials i know - already  
sent the email
2. get in touch with Bruce Schneier  who attended last week's ITU  
cybersecurity meeting. Curious to know what came as a result of the  
meeting...

As for strategy going forward -

would be good to start developing a plan for prepcom 3. Specifically:
a. Would be good to start formulating specific points that we would  
lobby for.
b. written submisisons
c. The international data commissioner's meeting will be taking place  
in Montreaux just before the PrepCom. There might be several days  
that the meetings intersect - perhaps a privacy event can be  
organized at the prepcom . I mentioned this months ago - no comments  
from anyone yet.
