Hi,

Well.. there are the positions/papers produced for prepcom2 (for the WGIG consultation + plenary), plus a general report of the privacy aspects of the WGIG - how are they approaching privacy, which aspects are included, which not, what have been our positions etc. And I believe Whois issues should be mentioned, even though they are mentioned other places as well.

Could also consider mentioning the Cybercrime meeting late june.

Rikke

Emne: [Privsec] Update for EPIC/PI survey on WSIS? ideas needed

Hi all,

Cedric Laurant from EPIC has just asked me to update the section on WSIS
in their upcoming Privacy & Human Rights Survey 2005. I am not really sure
what to write, as nothing really has happened since the first summit.
Sure, we had some debates, but no decisions etc. And most WGIG aspects
like whois privacy are already dealt with in other sections of the survey.

What do you think?
Did I miss anything?

Any comments and hints on updating this text are more than welcome.

Attached find the version from the 2004 edition.

Best, Ralf
