I suggest that this working group officially supports the Citizens'
Summit. Ok?
I also met with Wolf Ludwig from the organizing committee last weekend,
and he said they are more than happy to get more proposals for panels.
I suggest we organize a privacy panel at this event. I have already asked
Simon Davies if he could participate. Anybody else?
Ideas what to discuss / present there?
We could easily replay the quite nice side-event we had during PrepCom3,
which presented our take on the official WSIS process in terms of privacy.
I personally would prefer something more fundamental, looking way beyond
the WSIS and discussing general privacy threats and opportunities in the
global information society.
We will need to come up with a short description and a list of speakers in
the next one or two weeks, I guess. If nobody objects to this general
idea, of course.
Best, Ralf
