Hi Robert

The event is mainly addressed at persons near or around Switzerland.
One of the main ideas of the initator (Switch) was that there is not
enough discussion in public and that an event could may be a good way to
increase awarness of the topic in Switzerland and to motivate more
persons to join the debate. That is also why in the title we wrote
"Internet Governance and Switzerland" and "Schweizerisches Symposium".
The main language will be german. Some speakers talk in English. We
invited persons from civil society (Wolf Ludwig, comunica-ch) and the
governement (Bakom - Thomas Schneider). Other mainly Swiss civil society
organisations are supporting the event. We also planned to have a
broader discussion between different organisations and to discuss
possible proposals together.

I sent it to the list to show what we are doing in Switzerland and
because there will be one discussion about privacy with a data
protection officier.

Of course everybody is welcome to come, but we can't offer fellowships.

Regards
daniel
