[Rio-GEM] ARRIVAL INFORMATION IN RIO

Hello dear friends,
please remember that there are updates on the webpage for the event at
http://www.apcwomen.org/rio/participants


But most importantly THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES IN ARRIVAL INFORMATION.

Please read the following carefully:

Arrivals
PLEASE NOTE CHANGES:
Originally we had planned to hire a shuttle service to pick up the majority 
of participants. However, people arrive at such diverse hours that our 
recommendation for everyone is to take a TAXI.

People should look for Aero Taxi - they have a stand at the airport, in 
front of the Arrivals exit in Terminal 1. If you arrive at Terminal 2, 
there will be people who work for Aero Taxi (easily recognizable by their 
Aero Taxi t-shirts), as well as taxis in front of the exit with the name 
Aero Taxi written on the car.

This Aero Taxi service has been hired to transport all participants - 
simply arrive and state that you are going to the "APC WNSP event". The 
drivers know where the hotel is and should present the passenger with a 
VOUCHER, which our host Graciela will later reimburse. This voucher is 
worth 30 reais or 10 USD. Make sure you hang onto the voucher to give to 
Graciela.

DO NOT take any other taxi other than Aero Taxi, as there will be other 
taxi services there.


For taxi travel, always keep the name and address of the hotel with you:

It's useful to say that it's near the Musem of the Republic - Museu da 
República, in Portuguese.


Please make sure you've given your flight information to the logistics team.
