[rts] gender and lack of investments,projects, good intentions

Colleagues,

While I completely agree with Pri, my main point is that we shouild fight and presssure to get the Banks to finance TRS, IMT, studies, and so forth. Only whne the real truth is known to all the IFIs then they will finance studies, and (low) investments to promote TRS.

I encourage all of you to strongly lobby for RTS (even to the extent of being abnotious??) before the Banks. Knowing the ´problem and how to solve it based on a few cases is alright, but we have to "corner" the IFIs to look at the real problems in the rural sector.

Any investment should be labor intensive, using local materials and equipment (even if "underdeveloped") to the extent possible,if we want to fight poverty. 

Otherwise, it will just be a waist of time.
