Dear colleagues

Many thanks to those people who have taken the time
to comment on the paper and make new suggestions, notably
Dieter, Priyanthi and Joaquín.

The authors will consider all points raised.
For example, following feedback at the workshop and in
this discussion, the working title of the paper has now
been changed to:
Improving rural mobility: options for developing
       motorised and non-motorised transport.

I note that time is running out for the envisaged
deadline of 30 November. We would appreciate more
comments, corrections, criticisms and suggestions.
There are many people out there who are silent:
can I encourage you to write a few comments?
In submitting feedback through this e-mail channel,
do not feel you have to critique of the whole paper
(although that would be very good!), as even a
one-paragraph comment, making a particular point or
providing and idea or insight could be most valuable.

And in case you feel that it is now too late to submit
your comments, you can be assured that the authors will
consider all comments, even if they arrive somewhat after
the official deadline. It is going to be a major task to
review and restructure the paper, and add 'case history'
boxes, so there is still time to influence the final
result. However, the sooner the better - please!
