Hello,

For those of you who I didn't meet at the researchers get-together
back in August, I have just graduated from Bristol University and am
now volunteering at the Schumacher Institute.

As part of this, I am keen to promote links between UofB and SISS. It
is my idea to try and link up students from different subjects who are
interested in sustainablity and must do a dissertation, with members
of SISS who are involved in exciting developments and could benefit
from the research/work that a final year student could do.

>From my experience, students have the chance to do their dissertation
working with local companies but they tend to aproach the larger, more
well known ones due to a lack of information. I would like to get that
info to students with the hope that both parties would benefit. If you
think that a student could potentially be linked up with your
company/idea then please can you send me name of org, address, phone
no. with brief description of the work you do and are currently doing
(or refer me to a CV)plus any ideas for how a student could assist.

Thanks

Claire
