[Telecentres] Identifying goals of the working group (was Telecenter Statistics)

Dear all,

I think that reaching a database of every single
telecenter by country is not the point of this list
(maybe for other level of work it would be very useful
and interesting!). So, I agree with Matyas (or whoever
said this, sorry I am very bad with names) on
preparing an aggregate telecentre statistics by
networks or group of telecenters that work together in
each country and/or in each region (such as Somos
Telecentros for the regional level in Latin America
-http://www.tele-centros.org/-, and Red Nacional de
CTCs in the national level in Argentina
-http://redctc.org.ar). This will help us to
understand and identify how telecentres articulate
their individual and community efforts to strengthen
their identities while trying to keep up with global
development. For instance, each of person that are
subscribed to this list could send how many networks
(with their name, contact information and a brief
explanation) or group of telecentres there are in
his/her country and region. Hope this can help.

Creo que alcanzar una base de datos que contenga cada
uno de los telecentros existentes en cada pais no es
el punto de trabajo de esta lista (quizas pueda ser
muy interesante y util  en otro nivel de trabajo). Asi
que apoyo la propuesta de Matyas (o quien lo haya
dicho, soy muy mala para recordar nombres) de preparar
unas estadisticas por red o grupo de telecentros que
trabajan juntos en cada pais o por region (como por
ejemplo lo hace  Somos Telecentros a nivel regional en
Latino America -http://www.tele-centros.org/-, y la
Red Nacional de CTCs a nivel nacional en Argentina
-http://redctc.org.ar). Esto nos ayudaria a entender y
a identificar como los telecentros articulan sus
esfuerzos individuales y de la comunidad para reforzar
sus identidades mientras tratan de mantener conectados
con el desarrollo global. Por ejemplo, cada una de las
personas que esta suscripta a esta lista podria enviar
el numero de redes y grupos de telecentros que hay en
su pais o region (con nombre, información para
contactarlo y un corto resumen que cuente que hace).
