Thanks Max for keeping the list active and for being involved in IG list.
Perhaps you could help repost the important ones from that list to the
values and ethics list. Also members should check out www.wsis-cs.org to
join the Internet Caucus list so they can be kept updated on their own too.
As for participating on the wiki- I don;t find it easy to post and
participate as I am not familiar with wikis. I tried posting something
before but it did not appear so I gave up. Open to suggestions and we really
shouls get Liberato and Bahiyyih, the co-convenors of this caucus to support
you too. I will check if Bahiyyih is back online after her time with her new
baby, and perhaps you could check with Liberato.

Consultations on implementation of WSIS decision in Geneva

Consultations on how to best implement the decisions of the World Summit on
the Information Society in a truly multi-stakeholder approach will be held
on 24 February 2006 at the UN Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Summit decided that the implementation of the WSIS outcomes at the
international level should be multi-stakeholder and that its organization
should take account of the themes and action lines in the Plan of Action and
be moderated or facilitated by UN agencies when appropriate.
The meeting in Geneva, brining together the so-called “WSIS Action Line
Moderators/Facilitators is jointly organized by ITU, UNESCO and UNDP. It is
open to all WSIS stakeholders that are interested in contributing to the
multi-stakeholder teams for the action lines and in particular acting as
facilitators/moderators for WSIS Action Lines.
The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen synergies across the action
lines and address cross-cutting and work towards the finalization the list
of moderators/facilitators for the different WSIS Action Lines, as set out
in the Annex of the Tunis Agenda. The consultation meeting will discuss the
nature of the coordination processes and the expected outputs and the
modalities and logistics of the work to be undertaken on WSIS
implementation.
