[Values-ethics] Request for response from Shaila : Athens-WSIS- Update

Dear Friend
   
  I am appealing to all of you to respond to the numerous efforts that Max has made to bring us all together once again to present papers and  a workshop at WSIS Athens in Oct 2006.  I am also very enthusiastic about doing something and would like all of us to be involved. I know that we all have commitments but it would be great if we could set some time aside to participate in this .
   
  The ways I see it, we need to first of all answer the following questions.
   
  1  Are we able to participate in this WSIS follow up.
  2 Do we see value in so doing.
  3 Can we write papers for publication.
  4 Can we have a workshop.
  5 Are some of us willing to speak.
   
  Our dear "young" friend Max has kept us all informed on what is going on regarding this . I personally feel that the contribution of the Values and Ethics Caucus is important. We are indeed a small acorn right now but can and will one day grow to be a might oak tree.
   
  Please reply to me personally as I am writing only to those of you that I know personally.
