As a new journal with a new vision we are particularly pleased to receive this recognition. We hope that you will consider subscribing or donating to Kosmos to help us continue to maintain our high quality. We are driven by a cause that many of you share - to bring our highest integral consciousness to the design of the new global culture and civilization. I would like to introduce a new member of the Advisory Board, Barrett Brown. I met Barrett through a Spiral Dynamics workshop and was impressed by his depth, spirituality, and commitment. He is presently Co-Director of the Integral Sustainability module of Ken Wilber's Integral institute. He is experienced in global affairs as well and brings the perspective of youth to our Board. I hope you will get to know him through his biography which can be found on our <a href="http://www.kosmosjournal.org/kjo/about/bios/barrett-brown.shtml">website</a>.<br>

Many of us our grieving deeply about the tragic tsunami disaster and are<br>
more determined than ever to give generously to provide for those effected. I can personally recommend the <a href="http://www.theirc.org/">International Rescue Committee</a> having been the recipient of a grant from them and USAID for work wirh trauma victims during the Bosnian War.<br>
<br>
More than this, Kosmos is determined to do whatever we can to prevent<br>
unnecessary suffering due to lack of resources that are available and can be provided for in the future welfare of all of humanity. A great outpouring of aid has resulted as more people wake up to our global responsibility.This is what Kosmos Journal is all about.<br>
