KOSMOS JOURNAL

The Spring/Summer Issue of Kosmos is at the printer now and we expect to mail it out by April 20. Every issue of Kosmos exceeds the last one in aligning closer to our mission, its outstanding articles, and photographs that move the heart. Many of the masterful articles encircle the theme of One Kosmos – Many Voices as we come closer to defining the mission of the moment for all humanity, exploring how we are called to transform to meet human civilization and all life in the 21st century. Joe Firmage, Don Beck, Yasuhiko Kimura, Thierry Pauchant are among our leading edge contributors. We invite you to renew your subscription now so that you will continue to share in our evolving mission.

Please keep posted on www.kosmosjournal.org about the development of our next issue due out this Fall. It will explore An Integral Approach to Global Citizenship. Many of us identify as global citizens, members of humanity. We view the Kosmos as an interdependent world, but what does this really mean in the way we live our lives? We are beginning to learn about circles of people gathering to discuss the issues that this view of Kosmos raises; coming together in the spirit of Oneness. More about this later.

JOE FIRMAGE JOINS THE ADVISORY BOARD OF KOSMOS

We are honored to welcome Joe Firmage to the Advisory Board of Kosmos. Joe is an amazing Silicon Valley entrepreneur and spiritual seeker. His remarkable accomplishments before the age of 30 provide the background for his present work. Since 2001 he has been assembling a breakthrough Internet information service called ManyOne. It is the technology platform and business infrastructure powering the Digital Universes, a new network of highly interactive, trusted portals designed to revolutionize online education, entertainment, communications and commerce. This advertising-free portal is being created and edited by a growing public-private alliance of the most trusted organizations on the planet. Portals built by this alliance will ultimately span tens of thousands of subjects of human interest, from space to earth to human health, culture to music to sports. It offers a next generation, far more compelling successor to the Web directories of the early World Wide Web. It will enable users to explore and enjoy the Web, interact with each other in ways never before possible. www.manyone.com.

Kosmos will be supporting and linking with ManyOne in the near future.

                                                        TRANSFORMATION CONFERENCE

Toward a spiritual renaissance in a time of fundamental change

“Seeds of Transformation: Toward a Spiritual Renaissance in a Time of Fundamental Change” will explore the ramifications of an emerging and widespread trend toward a profound shift in some of people’s most sacred beliefs about God, life and humanity.

Featured speakers will include Neale Donald Walsch, Bruce Chilton, Feisal Abdul Rauf, Andrew Harvey, Arthur Zajonc, Stephen Larsen, Alex Grey and some 20 other distinguished and celebrated thinkers from the worlds of religion, spirituality, science, art and music. If you are interested in a world in which humanity truly experiences unity and oneness — whatever your faith, culture or discipline — then this conference is for you.

Kosmos is co-sponsoring this timely conference because it addresses fundamental issues of our times – the changing nature of religion and what kind of spirituality will carry us into the 21st century? We will have an exhibit table and invite you to come visit us there and learn more about Kosmos and how we support Humanity’s Team in this gathering that brings us together to contemplate a spiritual renaissance.

The Spiritual Caucus at the United Nations will be hosting an event at the Conference on Sunday, June 5th that we hope you will attend and learn how Kosmos interfaces with the United Nations and how the Spiritual Caucus holds gatherings devoted to meditative silence for the global common good.
