> New Web Site WWW.ENAWA.ORG
> Launched by European and North American WomenAction (ENAWA)
> ENAWA - a network of media, ICT, Information and advocacy organizations has launched its newly designed web site http://www.enawa.org last week. ENAWA is a web-based community of feminist organizations committed to developing networks that contribute to the quality of the lives of women worldwide. With the contribution of the partners, the ENAWA web site provides an original and a rich collection of news and information on women which is rarely found in traditional media.
> By launching the new site, www.enawa.org offers new features, including interactive posting of petitions, announcements and publications. In addition to these new items, elements that have always been part of the site will remain: a feminist perspective on current news of relevance to women, a calendar of activist and academic events and a section of country reports, providing the reader access to information on countries in Europe and North America, including national and NGO reports.
> Two rich resources on the site are the databases 'Web Sites on Women' and 'Women's Information Centres' developed by the International Information Centre and Archives of the Women's Movement (IIAV), which is also hosting the ENAWA web site.
